Stillpoint Lodge offers a truly unique and unforgettable experience. The location is perfect, with stunning views right by the gardens and a remote feel that allows you to fully immerse yourself in the Alaskan wilderness. The spacious guest rooms and private cabins provide all the comforts you need, while the attentive service adds a personal touch. The gourmet meals, featuring fresh seafood and locally sourced ingredients, are like dining at a 5-star restaurant with wine pairing. The activities, such as kayaking with sea otters and hiking to a glacier, are beyond amazing.
The trail from the sleeping cabins to the main lodge can be challenging for those who are not physically active.

The food at the lodge was absolutely fantastic, with fresh seafood and meats, and vegetables sourced from the garden. The presentation was beautifully done, with vibrant colors and edible Alaskan flowers. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout our stay.
There were a few aspects that could have been better. the cabins were not as comfortable as we had hoped.

The location of this lodge is remote, making it perfect for a peaceful getaway with beautiful scenery. The staff were extremely friendly and entertaining, making me feel at home. The food was exceptional with fresh seafood offered, and the menu was presented in a visually pleasing way. The main lodge was well-appointed and offered comfortable spaces for relaxation. The wilderness trail to the sleeping cabin was challenging but provided an adventurous experience.
The sleeping cabin did not have running water, and the bathroom was located in a separate building, which I found inconvenient. The trail to the main lodge was also problematic if you are not active, as it can be challenging to navigate.

The location of the hotel was very convenient, close to public transportation and within walking distance to several restaurants and tourist attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful, and always willing to assist with any requests we had. The room was clean and comfortable with all the basic amenities we needed.
The hotel's facilities were quite outdated and in need of renovation. The room was quite small and cramped, and the air conditioning system was very noisy and not very effective.

You can enjoy stunning views of the bay and even spot sea life from your cabin while sipping your morning coffee. The main lodge is beautifully appointed, with a great room featuring a fireplace and a dining room where gourmet meals are served. The staff is attentive and accommodating, organizing wonderful excursions like kayaking around a glacier and deep sea fishing. The food is like going to a 5 star restaurant, with fresh seafood and produce sourced from the gardens.
The sleeping cabins do not have running water and separate bathrooms, which can be inconvenient for some guests.
